A carp session is one continuous fishing trip—from a day on the water to 48–72 hours beside the bivvy. Plan the boat, batteries and baiting routine around the time and water ahead.

In European carp fishing, a session is the full period spent fishing a venue—not a single cast or bait run. As the session grows longer, repeatable placement, battery planning, changing conditions and a confident return route matter more.
MATCH THE BOAT TO THE TIME
Five common session profiles
Start with duration, then adjust for venue size, bait volume and the information you need from the water.
Day Session
Prioritise quick setup, compact transport and precise repeat runs. The D32 platform is the natural starting point for smaller waters and mobile sessions.
24-Hour Session
Balance carrying capacity, saved positions and battery reserve for dusk, night and first-light baiting. Compare D50B and D50E by the water information you need.
48–72-Hour Session
Plan repeated deliveries, reserve power and changing conditions across several days. V030 adds a fish-finder option for anglers who want more information before placing bait.
Big-Water Session
On larger venues, prioritise capacity, route discipline and return margin. D80B focuses on GPS power; D80E adds supported depth and temperature information.
Multi-Hopper Session

A REPEATABLE ROUTINE
The session workflow
Good boat work is a sequence, not a single feature.
01 · Read before baiting
Check wind, weed, depth changes and boat traffic before committing bait. Use depth, temperature or fish-finder data only on models that support it.
02 · Save repeatable points
On supported GPS models, save productive areas and confirm the intended return point before the first run.
03 · Deliver in stages
A controlled first delivery leaves room to respond. Revisit the same line and adapt the amount as the session develops.
04 · Protect the return
Keep a power reserve, reassess wind and weed, and avoid a final outbound run that removes the margin needed to get home.

BEFORE YOU LAUNCH
A simple bank-side check
Confirm the home point and saved spot. Check controller and boat battery levels. Test hopper doors and release mechanisms. Reassess wind, weed and the return path. Keep the controller dry and preserve enough power for the return.
